MMO Games That Have The Best Private Servers

It is well-known that World of Warcraft has many private servers. Various XP rates, different versions and so on. What about other games with many private servers? Let's take you through the following list, starting with the most popular server, WoW. The following information is based on Google Trends early 2019.

1) World of Warcraft

WoW has many unique servers that each have their own special twists. Modded servers are not the only option. Older versions of WoW can also be found as vanilla-like server versions. The total amount of WoW servers is huge and growing each day. The majority of players continue to return to WoW because there isn't an MMORPG that is the dominant one.

2) MU Online

MU has some of the most beautiful items and skills for an old game. MU includes wings. These are not only beautiful, but they also have powerful items. You can also upgrade your MU sets to make them cooler by adding a glowing or liquidish effect at specific stages. Simply by looking at their gear, you can easily tell how skilled someone is. A lot of private servers out there, mostly difference from each other by XP and Drop rates. Of course some servers have newer, some older versions of the game. Because of the P2W problem, more players are switching to private servers from official servers.

3) Metin2

Metin2 boasts a remarkable number of private servers. Some servers are very active, with over 1000 players online simultaneously. Some feel that the original game was too grindy. Others feel that it was too much Pay 2 Win. Perhaps that's why private servers exist. Private servers offer less grindy and more free (mostly) gameplay. Because PvP in this game is addictive, players don’t stop playing once they reach maximum level. It just keeps getting more fun.

Flyff Online

Flyff was among the first anime-styled MMORPGs.  alseyassi.com Flyff was even more exciting because you could fly around the globe in the air. There's plenty of quests and the game itself is fairly easy to learn. Although the original game has few flaws, there are still a lot of private servers for Flyff.

5) Conquer online

The community is active for a game that has been around for over 15 years. The game's fast gameplay and amazing combat will keep you hooked for hours. It doesn't have the 3D graphics that other MMORPGs do, but the nostalgic feeling you get with Conquer graphics could be what makes it so popular.

6) Cabal Online

Cabal's official server doesn’t have as much activity as the private ones, but they are certainly seeing more. Overall very decent F2P MMO, the official might be too heavily focused on microtransactions, but private servers usually don't have that issue. The graphics are great for an old game and don't feel outdated.

7) Shaiya

Shaiya is very focused on PvP. This means that players don't have to leave once they are maxed out. You will never have the best gear or build and you will always want tweaks to your character. There are some old servers that don't plan on cloning any time soon. Even though new servers are created every now and then there are only a few servers.

8) Dekaron

Another MMORPG that is PvP-based is Dekaron. This is where most of Dekaron's community is at, battling each other and perfecting their characters. This may be the reason why most of Dekaron servers are High XP ones. Players don't want to fight mobs that much, quickly max your character and start the PvP action. Private servers have better character balancing than official servers, which may be why Dekaron fans prefer private server.

9) The Perfect World

Perfect World has beautiful graphics that are easy on the eyes. A large number of cool looking mounts, weapons, and armor. Quests don't require much effort. You can simply relax and enjoy exploring the stunning world. This is one of the few games that you won't be mad at grinding XP. The game's environment pulls you in.

10) Aion Online

Although Aion's official server peak is over, the private servers are as active as ever. The graphics are very modern, even though this game was released a little later than other MMORPGs. The ability to fly with your wings sure is a cool feature that should be implemented in every MMORPG. The boss fights can be very entertaining and PvP provides a nice balance.
